Corporate Council policies in respect of equality apply to the Fire & Rescue Service. The Council has an overarching Single Equality Scheme, Equality for All.
Linked to this Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service produces an annual Equality Action Plan. It also produces an annual equality report.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service have a thematic approach to equality impact assessments, there are 4 key documents prevention, protection, intervention and organisational development and these are updated regularly.
