IRMP Year Seven Action Plan
The Integrated Risk Management Plan (IRMP) is a statutory document required by the National Fire and Rescue Service Framework 2008-11. The IRMP sets out a Fire and Rescue Service's strategy for managing risk in its community and its approach to prevention, protection and response. The IRMP has an annual action plan, that sets out specific actions that the Service intends to achieve each year to reduce risk in its Community.

Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service's current IRMP 2006-2010 and the 2010-11 IRMP Action Plan are available on our Publications page, click here

The Service is currently undertaking a full review of our Integration Risk Management Plan (IRMP) including two additional reviews on Strategic Risk and an analysis of our Intervention Standards. The revised IRMP will help us to better define and manage risk in our community and assist us in directing  our resources to prevention and intervention more effectively. It will be available for public consultation in June 2010
