Free smoke alarm reminder service Safelincs developed as a partner of the Fire Kills campaign are now available. This free service available to all householders to remind them, by text or email, to regularly test their smoke alarms and when it's time to renew batteries. For more information see Safelincs

Home Safety Visit Survey
Every home in Cumbria is eligible to apply for a free Home Safety Visit to help them deal with any potential fire hazards in their homes.
We can help you design a fire plan so that you and your family will know how to react if you have a fire. We will also fit, where applicable, a battery powered smoke detector free of charge.
