Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service is heavily involved in the prevention of accidents, particularly fires, in the home.   In this section there is advice on how you can take measures to minimise the risk in your home by following the links in the menu on the left.

Free smoke alarm reminder service Safelincs developed as a partner of the Fire Kills campaign are now available. This free service available to all householders to remind them, by text or email, to regularly test their smoke alarms and when it's time to renew batteries.  Click on the following link for more information Safelincs
