Wigton fire station is staffed by On-call Firefighters and houses one fire engine. 

The Futamura/Innovia site is the main risk and major employer in the town. Other risks are associated with residential properties, large volumes of traffic on the predominantly 'B' type roads and the busy A595 and A596 trunk roads running through the station area. Consequently there are a significant number of serious road traffic collisions. The rural environment outside the town brings the hazards of agricultural building fires, wildfires and livestock rescues.

Whitehaven fire station is staffed by Regular and On-call Firefighters and houses two fire engines and dduring the summer months a Unimog specially equipped to deal with wildfires.                  

Silloth fire station is staffed by On-call Firefighters and houses one fire engine. 

In addition to residential risks, there are four elderly person's homes and seven holiday camps, which during the summer months can considerably increase the population of the town. There is a small, but busy dock, which apart from accepting small fishing vessels, also handles thousands of tonnes of imports and exports during the year, bringing its own inherent dangers.

Seascale fire station is staffed by On-call Firefighters and houses one fire engine.

Millom fire station is staffed by On-call Firefighters and houses one fire engine and a Wildfire Land Rover.

The A595 trunk road passes through the station area and this leads to a number of calls to attend road traffic collisions, the station also responds to a significant number of calls to the prison at Haverigg each year. Open farmland and fells brings the danger of agricultural and wildfires, in addition to other farm incidents, such as livestock rescues. Firefighters receive specialist training to deal with Wildfire incidents.

Maryport fire station is staffed by On-call Firefighters and houses two fire engines. 

Keswick fire station is staffed by On-call Firefighters and houses one fire engine and a Specialist Wildfire Unit. 

Frizington fire station is staffed by On-call Firefighters and houses one fire engine. 

Frizington firefighters deal with a variety of incidents including road traffic collisions due to the high volume of traffic on the predominantly 'B' type roads. Other risks include agricultural fires such as barn fires, wildfires as well as livestock rescues and domestic property fires.

Egremont fire station is staffed by On-call Firefighters and houses one fire engine. 

Egremont deals with a variety of incidents as the main risks associated with the area are the main A595 trunk road, the BNG Sellafield nuclear plant, five junior schools and one secondary school. There are also two elderly person homes within the town.

Cockermouth fire station is staffed by On-call Firefighters and houses one fire engine and a Welfare vehicle.
